APD Certification: Continuing Education & Renewal Guide
Stay ahead of the curve in the AGI era and maintain
your global competitive edge in AI product innovation
Why Do You Need AEU Continuing Education Credits?
In
today’s rapidly evolving landscape of Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal technologies, and Artificial General
Intelligence (AGI), AI Product Managers (AIPM) and AI Engineers (AIE) are the driving
forces behind technological innovation, industrial implementation, and commercial application. The knowledge systems,
technical frameworks, and engineering practices in the AI sector iterate at an unprecedented pace; yesterday’s proven
solutions can quickly be outmoded by tomorrow’s new technologies and industry standards.
To ensure that all AIPM and AIE
credential holders stay at the forefront of the industry and maintain their professional competence and competitive
advantage, both certifications feature a standardized continuing education and renewal mechanism. This is not only an
official requirement to keep your certification active, but also a vital safeguard to solidify your professional
expertise and fortify your career moat in the fast-paced AI arena.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What happens if I do not renew my certification?
If you
fail to renew before the expiration date, your certification status will change to “Expired.” Consequently, your
certification number will no longer be verifiable in our official online registry, and you will not be able to claim the
credential on your resume or in professional business activities.
Q2:Can I still renew if my certification has already expired?
Yes, there is a 90-day
“grace period” following your expiration date. You can still reinstate your certification online by fulfilling the
required AEUs and paying the renewal fee within this window. If no action is taken after 90 days, you must retake and
pass the certification exam to earn the credential again.
Q3:Do I need to provide invoices or official certificates when submitting AEU
credits?
Not necessarily. Credits for official courses and events will be synced to your account
automatically. For corporate projects, published articles, or external speaking engagements, you simply need to upload
verifiable proof—such as screenshots of your work, links to public articles, or event agendas—to the portal. Our
academic affairs team will review and process your submission within 3 business days.
Q4:What is the “Renewal Fee” used for?
The renewal fee is entirely dedicated to
maintaining our on-chain database of credential holders nationwide, funding technical upgrades for the digital
certification system, covering the labor costs of multidimensional AEU reviews, and ensuring we can continue to provide
you with free access to cutting-edge online seminars.
