APD Institute relies on every candidate to act with integrity and uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, both individually and among peers.
By taking an APD Institute certification exam, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the following rules:
Single Account: You will register for and maintain only one account on the platform.
Authentic Identity: You are the individual whose name appears on the exam start page. You will not engage in proxy testing or impersonation.
Independent Effort: You will not discuss or communicate exam content with anyone while taking the exam.
No Prior Access: You have not obtained, received, or previewed answers to any exam questions from any source prior to the exam.
Personal Performance: All answers submitted and actions performed during the exam are entirely your own independent work.
No Plagiarism: You will not plagiarize others’ work, published materials, or any content from the Internet.
AI Tool Restrictions: Unless explicitly authorized in the specific exam instructions, you will not use Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to directly generate or assist in answering any exam questions during the assessment.
Confidentiality: You will not share, distribute, or disclose exam materials or your answers to any individual or platform by any means, including but not limited to screenshots, screen recordings, copying, or verbal disclosure.
Compliance with Exam Rules: You will not pre-prepare answers for direct copy-and-pasting during the exam, nor will you attempt to disrupt, tamper with, or compromise the assessment environment of the exam platform in any way.
If you become aware of any violations of this Code of Conduct, it is your responsibility to report them to us at support@apd.institute. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct will result in the immediate revocation of your APD Institute certification, and your platform account will be permanently disabled.
Exam Environment and Assessment Policies
The AI Product Manager (AIPM) and AI Engineer (AIE) certification exams are strictly timed assessments designed to realistically and objectively evaluate your knowledge base, technical proficiency, and practical experience as a professional AI Product Manager or AI Engineer.
APD Institute strives to ensure accessible testing for every developer and professional aspiring to advance their AI capabilities. Currently, we do not require candidates to travel to a physical proctored testing center, nor do we mandate live webcam proctoring during the exam.
However, maintaining this accessibility entails a heightened commitment to integrity and personal accountability.
1. External Materials and Citation Standards
For subjective or performance-based tasks, if your response includes material quoted verbatim from external sources, you must explicitly cite the source for every verbatim citation for the answer to be accepted. Furthermore, please note:
Merely citing external materials does not constitute a sufficient or passing answer. Candidates must demonstrate their own understanding of the subject matter by articulating why the specific material was selected and cited, and explaining how it effectively resolves the prompt at hand.
2. Violation Monitoring Technologies and Enforcement Measures
To safeguard the authority of our certifications and ensure fairness for all candidates, APD Institute employs multi-dimensional technical safeguards in the backend to monitor academic integrity, including but not limited to:
Copyright and Plagiarism Detection: Monitoring for the unauthorized copy-and-pasting of copyrighted content and publicly accessible online materials.
Cross-Candidate Similarity Matching: Analyzing and detecting unusual answer consistency and similarity across different exam participants.
AI-Generated Content Recognition: Detecting the misuse of artificial intelligence tools to bulk-generate exam responses.
Duplicate Submission Monitoring: Identifying the repeated use of identical or highly similar content across single or multiple assessment attempts.
If our systems detect any of the aforementioned violations, it may result in score deductions, an immediate failing grade, the revocation of issued credentials, and the termination of your member profile.
